The Popular Kid, one of the most innovative production companies on the scene, is sponsoring The TAJ Experience on June 27th - June 28th in Los Angeles, CA. The first fifty eligible people to hit Taj Stansberry up on Twitter will be chosen to attend. The TAJ Experience is a two day, documentary-style look into the life of some of today's most cutting-edge talents in the fields of music, art and style. You can be a part of it.

This two day event will be a glimpse into the exciting lives of these young, hip and talented trendsetters in all aspects of the entertainment world. How do I enter? All you in-the-know folks need to do is hit Taj Stansberry up on Twitter by saying "I want to be a part of The TAJ Experience on June 27th or June 28th." On the 27th, there will be four artists that one group of twenty-five will attend and the 28th will feature another four artists for the second group of twenty-five winners. Artists attending will be announced prior to the event so that you fans can have an opportunity to choose which days will suit your interests best. This event is a double treat because not only will the winners follow them in their day to day routine of video shoots, wardrobe styling, hair and makeup sessions, glamourous photo shoots and various other activities, there will also be a time set aside to talk to the artists up close and personal and get to know the person behind the talent and the image. Let me introduce everybody to Vashtie Kola (as if she needs an introduction). Besides being a tastemaker within her sphere of influence, she's an inspiration and a delight to be around. Yes, she's a talented director (like the kid..lol :). Yes, her selection of clothing determines who most women will want to be tomorrow, but most of all, it's her personality that keeps you into what she's doing every second that she's around. It's effortless and carefree- undeniably genuine. Yeah, this might sound like a crush, but it's not... It's just not often that the adjective "dope" is so easily defined within 15 seconds of being introduced to someone. CAMPING FOR KICKS??

Ok, So I got a kick fetish too. As a matter of fact, we all have something material that we're attached to. It doesn't have to be the most expensive thing, but there's always something that we wish not to part with. When the iphone came out, people spent days outside waiting to buy it. Granted its a dope phone, but why spend the night outdoors for a phone? Is it about the phone, or is it about the mere experience of marking the time in our lives when we were wild and free? (I hope its the second choice).

Anyway... the iphone is one thing... but shoes?? I love shoes, but c'mon... isn't that taking it a little too far??

And yes, the Air Yeezy's are fresh, but do you really think I won't be able to get my hands on them is a reasonable amount of time without sleeping on the concrete pavement?

Think about it. I might even get YOU to sell them to me... now was it worth it? lol.

"LOSO'S WAY" THE MOVIE

I have to say that I'm really excited about "Loso's Way". Obviously, it's much different than writing and directing a treatment for a music video, but it also give us more range to create. Think an hour and twenty minutes instead of 3 minutes and thirty seconds. I'm really going to put myself to the test.

On another note, but somewhat the same, Ivan just came down to LA to lend his creative brain. As it turns out, TAJ isn't so stubborn after all. lol...

Together, I think we'll create something true and even more important in today's Hip Hop climate... transcending. Let's see what happens.
